About Dustin Gouker and Closing Line Consulting

I have been in the gambling industry in one way or another for two decades; I started out playing poker and creating poker content. In 2015 I had a chance to join a startup to lead Legal Sports Report in its early days of covering the daily fantasy sports industry. From there I helped to build LSR into the go-to source of information about the sports betting industry, along with growing a network of other gambling content sites that became leaders in the space. The startup was acquired in 2017 by Catena Media, where I became the head of content and eventually a vice president for content.

I left that role at the start of 2023 and I now work as a consultant, and I publish a pair of newsletters that have more than 10,000 subscribers combined.
